Down Load NavPak Pocket Edition or Pocket Pilot Edition Demo Program
NavPak is available in two editions for Pocket PCs and Windows Mobile. These are NavPak Pocket Edition (US$ 149) and NavPak Pilot Pocket Edition (US$ 295). The Pilot Pocket Edition is similar to the regular Pocket Edition, except that it has AIS interface, a Range Ring function, Proportional Ship Rectangle, and Measure in meters. The Pilot Pocket Edition does not have celestial navigation or C-Map support. The NavPak demos contain a working copy of the program without the electronic interfaces for GPS plotting. The demos can be used as a chart viewer, and for navigation by plotting bearings. They also have a GPS Simulator that can be used as a DR function. In the regular NavPak Pocket Edition demo, all the celestial functions are enabled, so if you are comfortable finding your way around using traditional navigation, then grab your charts and you are ready to go with free navigation software.
The NavPak Pocket Edition demo program is a zip file which contains: the executable program ( NavPak-PEarm-d.exe ), and help file ( NavPak-PE.hlp ). Please read the readme file and help file on your desktop or laptop computer using Windows 95 or later. Updated July 11, 2010.
